Frinder, operated by DestinEye (frinder.space), is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of every user. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you interact with our platform.

We comply with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and adhere to industry best practices for data security and transparency. By using Frinder, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this policy.

  • Personal Identifiers - Email address collected through our authentication system for account creation and login.
  • Profile Information - User-provided values, interests, and social discovery preferences used for friendship matching.
  • Usage Data - Interaction patterns with AI-powered features, including vibe check responses and engagement metrics, used to improve match quality.

3. AI Data Processing

We utilize advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) via Google Cloud Vertex AI to provide value-based matching and AI-driven engagement features. These models analyze user-provided responses to generate compatibility insights.

User data is processed in an anonymized or pseudonymized state where possible. Raw personal identifiers are not passed directly to AI models. Instead, abstracted data representations are used to ensure privacy during inference.

We do not sell user data to third-party AI trainers. Your information is never used to train external machine learning models outside the scope of Frinder's services.

4. Third-Party Services

Frinder relies on trusted third-party providers for infrastructure and payment processing:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Primary cloud infrastructure, including Vertex AI for machine learning workloads, Cloud Storage, and managed database services.
  • Stripe - All payment processing is handled exclusively through Stripe's PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure via Stripe Link. Frinder does not store, process, or have access to your full payment card details.
  • Vercel / Railway - Application hosting and deployment infrastructure, providing edge delivery and managed backend services respectively.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by applicable law.

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the Right to be Forgotten. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at admin@frinder.space. We will process your request within 30 days and provide confirmation of complete data removal.

6. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption in Transit - All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.
  • Encryption at Rest - Stored data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption within Google Cloud Platform and Railway managed databases.
  • Access Controls - Strict role-based access controls (RBAC) limit internal access to user data to authorized personnel only.
  • Regular Audits - Periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments are conducted to maintain a robust security posture.
